Kate Bosworth is launching a 20 piece footwear collection in collaboration with Matisse which is set to hit stores just in time for the "festival" season in March 2015.
Bosworth has teamed up with shoe brand Matisse to create the line which features 20 footwear styles including clogs, sandals and mules.
The line is set to be released in March 2015, just in time for the "festival" season, and will be available to buy from Nordstrom, Revolveclothing.com and various other retailers.
Kate's aim was to design transitional pieces that are suitable to wear from day to night.
She told WWD: "For me, it's important to translate a feeling when I design a shoe and the woman I think of.
"They can transition you from a work environment like in my own life to a cool cocktail event. They're directional enough that they stand alone as a fashion piece. They're comfortable enough that you can wear them around all day."
The blonde beauty created the line - which retails from $295 to $505 and includes an eye-catching blue and silver-starred ankle boot design - to be "wearable and functional" but "fashionable" and added that "each pair has a story".
She said: "Each pair has a story. I feel I can express myself with a hint instead of screaming for attention.
"The truth is, shoes have to be wearable and functional.
There are some women who wear 7-inch stilettos and run around. That's not me. That's not the collection. I want to feel comfortable and also very fashionable in my life."
Kate - who was named the face of Calvin Klein Jeans in 2008 - also launched her own jewellery line, JewelMint, with her friend and celebrity stylist, Cher Coulter in 2010 and designed her second capsule collection for Topshop at the end of last year.
