Kate Bosworth had her wedding covered in Martha Stewart's magazine
Kate Bosworth was married in August to Michael Polish looking beautiful wearing a custom made Oscar de la Renta gown.
She documented her wedding gown with Vogue magazine and of course the wedding was planned with the help of Martha Stewart and she would eventually be featured in the magazine.
Her dress was incredibly simple and elegant, a strapless ivory gown with an eight-foot long, 16-foot wide train. As the dress was kept simple, the train looked beautiful and not at all ‘too much’.
Talking about having such an iconic designer create her wedding dress was ‘profound’.
She recalled in an interview with Lucky magazine: "He's just seen it all, and the fact that I'll be able to share my most important moment to date with him is profound.
"I couldn't control my reaction to sitting with him and talking with him about my Wedding Dress. I was trying not to cry, so I probably had this bizarre twisted face on."
It’s reported that she later changed into a chic floral print tulle dress with an illusion neckline and scalloped cap sleeves for the reception and we can imagine that she looked just as beautiful wearing this.
But Kate of course wasn’t the only beautiful bride this year; some other standout wedding gowns include Kelly Clarkson, Christina Ricci, Millie Mackintosh and Chrissy Teigen. Let’s not forget Keira Knightley too, who had worn her Chanel couture dress years before, and has even since gone on to wear it again.
