Sir Philip Green has confirmed that Kate Mosss new range will be sold in New York.
The clothing tycoon revealed plans to sell the much anticipated KM for Topshop range in Barneys.
The supermodels collection launches in the UK on May 1st and there is already a long waiting list for the range.
In an interview with BBC Radio 4s Today programme Green said the decision had only been made in the last three weeks. He said: 'We feel confident there is a demand in the US for our product, and Barneys is a very iconic brand.
'Part of our deal was to launch in the US. I will be disappointed if we don't have any stand alone stores in there this year, or by next spring at the latest.
A spokesperson for Barneys told Womens Wear Daily that, 'Kate's style is very much Barney's style. We completely relate to the design direction that she has given.
It is like going into her closet, with items that work on their own or together.
