Karen Elson's vintage clothes have been revamped for charity.
The model has let top designers including Marc Jacobs, Zac Posen, Tory Burch and Olivier Theyskens loose in her wardrobe, allowing them to put a fresh spin on 20 of her and her filmmaker friend Liz Goldwyn's favourite pieces.
The items have gone on sale yesterday until January 12 via Moda Operandi, with all proceeds going to Dress For Success, ELLE magazine is reporting.
The funds from Karen and Liz's pet project, Vintage Vanguard, will help disadvantaged women in need of clothes and help to build a professional career.
Coveted pieces include a yellow knit embellished with crystals by Atelier Swarovski and a floral top studded with rhinestones by Tory Burch.
Karen told ELLE: "I have three Ossie Clark dresses that are incredibly beautiful. I found them in a vintage store in London and they're basically museum pieces. Truly works of art."
The flame-haired singer credits designer Anna Sui with introducing her to vintage fashion when she was younger.
She explained: "Anna Sui used to take me to flea markets in New York. She introduced me to the vintage dealers and educated me in vintage designers and the history of fashion. Anna is a source of inspiration when it comes to fashion, music, literature and then some."
