The 39-year-old rapper - who launched his footwear line YEEZY with Adidas in 2013 - has admitted he felt betrayed when he found out the youngest of the Kardashian/ Jenner gang collaborated with the rival sportswear giant Puma, and had approached Adidas to collaborate with them behind his back, because he let her model his shoe range in the hope to get her a contract with the label.
Speaking on 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' episode on Sunday (07.08.16) about the betrayal, Kanye's wife Kim Kardashian West - who has three-year-old daughter North and eight-month-old Saint with the 'Famous' hitmaker - said: "Kanye had Kylie walk in his first two Yeezy shows. He really believed in her as a part of his brand.
"She was the model that he wanted over everyone. He saw Kylie and was, 'She has to be my Yeezy model.' I would have just liked the heads up."
And the father of two likened the 18-year-old's behaviour to him using his in-laws to land his own reality television show.
He said: "It's like if I made a show Sunday night, and didn't tell any of you all about it, but I did a couple shows with y'all, just two shows with y'all first. So people saw me and were all, 'Ah, he's cool on camera.' And somebody offered me a deal, and I, like, did it and didn't tell none of y'all, and brought all my, like, whatever cool friends. Now it's like Jay Z, Beyonce was all on the show."
And Khloé Kardashian believes the beauty mogul should have been the first to inform the singer songwriter about the contract with Puma first, instead of waiting for him to find out when the campaign went public.
She explained: "I don't agree with going against the family in that way. I think Kylie, whoever, should have presented it to Kanye first."
Meanwhile Kim was forced to confront the 60-year-old momager to ensure there wasn't a repeat in the future.
Kris defended herself and said: "Sometimes it's about a business decision which is completely not personal."
To which Kim replied: "Well, sometimes when you're dealing with family it's not really about a business decision."
