Kaia Gerber debuted her baby bangs on the Miu Miu runway.
The 17-year-old supermodel - who is the daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber - walked for the luxury Italian fashion house displaying their spring/summer 2019 collection as part of Paris Fashion Week - and showed off her new tiny fringe.
The polarizing trend of intentionally cutting your bangs shorter than your eyebrows started earlier this year, and the rising star sported the look paired with a long brown wig, accessorised with a thin black ribbon.
Kaia wore a black cocktail dress with an asymmetrical hem and statement floral detailing, paired with a black belt boasting a massive diamante and a white handbag - the look was paired with matching black knee high socks and sky-high off-set purple mules.
Hairstylist and Redken Global Creative Director Guido Palau was responsible for creating Kaia and the other models' looks and the inspiration behind the catwalk was the style of the 60s and 70s.
said backstage at the event: "The Miu Miu show this season has been so full-on. The Miu Miu girl is tough, sophisticated and always rebellious, so to celebrate this, I've done so many haircuts, like bobs and short cuts at this show, as well as a half-wig/half-real hair look.
"My key product for this show was Redken Wind Blown 05 to get texture in the cuts, then I used Redken Forceful 23 to enhance the severity of the looks. I also worked with Redken Global Creative Color Director Josh Wood, who coloured the wigs using Redken Color Gels Lacquers and Redken Shades EQ to get the wigs to match the girls' natural hair colors exactly,"
"The looks at the show are inspired by tough girls in the late 60s and early 70s, like a rebellious girl that would cut her fringe in an extreme way. That's why you're seeing these extreme lengths at this show."
