Jourdan Dunn finds it tough juggling her model career while raising her young son.
The 24-year-old catwalk star is among the most in-demand models in the industry, having fronted campaigns for H&M and Burberry, but she concedes it doesn't get any easier managing her work commitments with raising Riley, who was born with sickle cell anaemia in 2009.
Jourdan - who is an ambassador for the Sickle Cell Disease Association - explained: "It never gets any easier raising my son. Just yesterday, when I was about to say goodbye, he said, 'But mummy, you just got here. Why are you always leaving?' And I was like, 'Oh Bubba, I'll be back I a few days.'"
Jourdan, who was only 19 when she had her son, is no longer with Riley's father and has praised her mother for being such a supportive influence in her life.
She told the Mail On Sunday newspaper: "Thank God for my mum - I couldn't ask for better support. She's amazing. I mean, it's hard, but I know that when I'm travelling, he's in great hands. I think it's important that Riley has a routine, especially as he has just started school. "
Jourdan proudly recalls her son's first day at school, saying: "I promised myself that I wasn't going to weep. But he walked off and was like, 'See ya, mum,' and I just started crying. 'My baby's all grown up now!' "
