Joan Smalls has designed a denim collection for True Religion.
The Victoria's Secret model has teamed up with the LA-based jeans brand to create the capsule collection which she announced on her Instagram account yesterday (18.02.15) by posting a sneak peak of the campaign.
The brunette beauty,26, shared a steamy topless photo of herself posing in a pair of skin-tight skinny jeans, which she captioned: "So excited to announce my first ever design collaboration with @TrueReligion!"
The capsule line will consist of sixteen pieces and include everything from traditional denim, quirky separates, hot pants and cropped sweaters.
Joan has followed in the footsteps of fellow VS angel Candice Swanepoel, who recently designed her own denim line for Mother.
The blonde beauty, 26, believes her modelling experience gave her an advantage when it came to designing the retro-inspired collection.
She said: "I first had a look at the denim I had in my closet, what were my absolute favourites and what I would change to make them perfect. Most of what I found were old Levi's and denim that I had worn in over the years. I was inspired by the iconic supermodels of the Nineties and their off-duty denim chic style.
"I'm lucky that I've had amazing training in all the years of modelling. I've probably tried on a million pairs of jeans. Models really get to see what works and what doesn't."
