Jessica Simpson faced her "biggest fear" during a photo shoot.
The 34-year-old singer revealed she was left terrified when photographer Giles Bensimon instructed her to pose on the side of a steep cliff in skyscraper heels while shooting the latest campaign for her Jessica Simpson clothing collection.
However, the blonde beauty - who stuns in the ads for her new spring line - managed to conquer her fear thanks to Giles' support on set .
She said: "The campaign was shot by one of my all-time favourite photographers, Gilles Bensimon.
"The passion he puts into his work gives me the confidence to follow his vision, even when it takes me to the side of a cliff in 6-in. heels!
"Somehow, he captured a serene moment amidst my biggest fear! Of course, this ended up being one of my favourite shots."
Jessica - who has Max, two and Ace, one, with her husband Eric Johnson - travelled with her team to Sedona, Arizona, for the perfect cliff-side shot which embodies the collection's south-western influences.
She told PEOPLE: "My team and I packed our bags and hit the dusty trail, travelling eight hours by tour bus from L.A. to Sedona.
"This season the collection is influenced by the Southwest: turquoise jewellery, worn denim and tons of suede and fringe.
"The styling is easy and free-spirited."
