Jessica Alba says The Honest Company has given her a "purpose in life".
The 35-year-old actress co-founded the business in 2011 with the aim to sell non-toxic household products and ethical makeup and it has gone from strength-to-strength being valued at $1.5 billion in August 2015.
Alba insists she has gained so much satisfaction from creating that brand and hopes the business can make a difference in the world.
She said: "I feel like I have figured out my purpose in life and that is working towards getting people knowledge and products in order to live a happier and healthier life."
Alba is still acting and can currently be seen in action film 'Mechanic: Resurrection' opposite Jason Statham.
The screen beauty also has a young family to care for as she has daughters Honor, eight, and Haven, four, with her husband Cash Warren and she admits the biggest challenge in her life these days is good "time management".
Speaking to the Daily Express newspaper, she shared: "I'm trying to figure out my time management. I have a company to run and a family so it is really a case of how much time can I set aside for a film."
The latest products being launched by The Honest Company are two "clean" cosmetic kits called the Falling For You Make-up Palette that features five eyeshadows, two lip shades and a cream blusher, and the Falling For You Cheek Palette consisting of two cream blushers and a highlighter.
Makeup artist Daniel Martin co-created the eco-friendly products for the brand and he drew inspiration from the 90s for the cosmetics.
Speaking previously, he said: "People assume that 'clean' make-up is just pretty, that you can't get daring. We wanted to push what you can do with it.
"We wanted to create something that you can do everything with. Our main focus was to hit a wide demographic of people."
