Jennifer Hudson likes to wear denim in the summer.

The 34-year-old singer has admitted she regularly slips into the sturdy cotton items, despite the scorching temperatures in New York at the moment, because she always feels cold.
Speaking to WWD.com, she said: "When it's summer, that means a lot of air conditioning. Somebody like myself, I get cold a lot. I feel like the denim helps keep you warm at times, but it's still cool enough to wear in the summer."
Meanwhile, the 'Dreamgirls' star feels she has finally accepted her body for what it is and insists she won't hide it as she's worked hard to lose weight.
She explained recently: "I've made a huge transition [with my weight]. There are things you want to try but you can't always wear when you're 'plus size.' So I feel like I am able to explore more, but I am still very conscious of every girl, every woman, every size. I like high-waisted things.
"I love the pencil shape, which works regardless of your size. I feel like each one of these pieces represent that silhouette. I did not work this hard for this [my body] to hide it!"
And Jennifer - who has David, six, with her partner David Otunga - previously revealed parenting keeps her fit.
She shared: "We were outside in our front yard recently playing ball and I was like 'What other parent does this?' I know they think we're the strangest people, but we keep up with the kids ... In the summertime, I like to do outdoor activities with my son like bike riding, playing basketball or skating. Big David and I are very active parents."
