Jean Paul Gaultier is launching a couture line for children and the dresses will retail for $1,200 each.
Crazy, huh?!
The 61-year-old designer - who already has a children's collection, which was launched in 2009 - will be releasing a more luxurious, high-end line for spring/summer 2014.
The collection was inspired by the dresses modelled in his spring/summer couture 2013 collection.
Junior Gaultier Couture has only publicly debuted one design from its collection - a silk and tulle dress, which is adorned with Swarovski crystals and available in white or pink.
A limited collection of only 90 designs aimed at children between four and 14 years old will go on sale toward the end of the year. The pieces will retail at around $1,200 each.
The esteemed fashion designer - who has created unique outfits for the likes of Madonna and Kylie Minogue - also has plans to showcase some of his most iconic designs in an exhibition in London.
The display titled 'The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk' will debut at the Barbican Centre in April 2014.
It will feature 140 pieces designed by Jean Paul throughout his illustrious career, including both ready-to-wear outfits and high couture designs.
