Jaden Smith has "found an instinctive balance" with androgynous fashion.
Louis Vuitton's Nicolas Ghesquiere believes the 17-year-old actor - who has modelled for the luxury brand's spring/summer 2016 campaign in a skirt and fringed top - is "representing" his generation.
In a statement, Nicolas said: "[Smith] represents a generation that has assimilated the codes of true freedom, one that is free of manifestos and questions about gender ...
"[He] conveys something very interesting about the integration of a global wardrobe. He's found an instinctive balance that makes his extraordinary attitude a new norm."
Meanwhile, Jaden - who is the son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith - previously compared his style to that of Albert Einstein.
He said: "Einstein didn't really like to change clothes because he had too much other stuff to worry about and I'm the same. All black is pretty much my go-to look.
"If somebody is just wearing something for the blogs, that's really sad because they're not living for themselves, versus someone wearing a kimono who's having an awesome time. I really look to see, do you care more about what other people think, or are you having fun?"
