Jaden Smith doesn't think gender specific clothes exist.
The 17-year-old actor regularly wears a long skirt over his skin-tight trousers and is very free with his fashion choices.
And Jaden - who has just been selected by Karl Lagerfeld to be a new Chanel ambassador - doesn't understand why people feel they have to conform when it comes to clothes and insists everyone should experiment with all styles.
Speaking in GQ Style magazine, he said: "I feel like people are kind of confused about gender norms.
"I feel like people don't really get it. I'm not saying that I get it, I'm just saying that I've never seen any distinction.
"I don't see man clothes and woman clothes, I just see scared people and comfortable people."
Jaden's "fearless" attitude to living life his own way is something his famous father Will Smith and mother Jada Pinkett Smith are extremely proud of.
Hollywood superstar Will previously said: "There's a really powerful internal quality as an artist that as parents we encourage. You gotta get out on the edge, you have to try things, you have to be comfortable doing things that people don't agree with, and you have to be comfortable doing things that you could fail.
"And Jaden is 100 per cent fearless, he will do anything. So as a parent it's scary, it's really terrifying - but he is completely willing to live and die by his own artistic decisions and he just doesn't concern himself with what people think."
