The 37-year-old 'This Morning' host - who will be joining Declan Donnelly to front ITV's 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' later this year - has revealed that "dresses" were her go-to item in her wardrobe until her stylist Angie Smith presented her with the perfect pair and now they are a staple.

Speaking to Glamour UK, Holly said: "I could never wear trousers; I'd always stick to dresses but then one day, Angie turned up at my house with a single pair of black trousers and they were a game-changer. There is no doubt that a great fitting pair of trousers can make you feel good about yourself."

However, Holly believes that confidence in your look is about more than just what you're wearing, it needs to come from inside yourself.

She added: "Styling and clothing only take you so far. It's the smoke and mirrors. Everything needs to be in place beneath that. You've got to have good people around you, you've got to feel good about yourself."

The blonde beauty also revealed that when she was younger she would go to bed in make-up and "still look radiant", however, now she takes better care of her skin and swears by "sun cream" to maintain her glowing complexion.

Holly added: "I'm not brilliant with any of this but I am starting to look after my skin now because I feel like I'm getting older and I have to just grow up.

"By that I mean I have started taking my makeup off at night but for years I didn't. I thought I was invincible and that I could go out at night and still look radiant and then you get older and realise that's probably not the case. For me, drinking lots of water and getting a good night's sleep, plus a good sun cream (I love Heliocare SPF), is more important than a moisturiser."

As she's gotten older, Holly - who has children Harry, nine, Belle, seven, and Chester, four, with husband Dan Baldwin - takes more time for herself to keep her "sanity" and makes sure it involves a relaxing bath with lots of "candles".

Holly said: "Living life and being unapologetic and giving back time to yourself is my idea of self-care. Life is a little stressful so it's nice to just have those moment for yourself and so you should! It's really important to do that and not feel guilty about it for your sanity.

"My perfect night in involves a glass of wine in the bath, lighting candles, listening to desert island discs, then putting on a big fluffy robe, having another glass of wine and watching Killing Eve in bed."
