Henry Holland has designed the limited edition charm band

Henry Holland is making a stand against cancer by designing a new limited edition charm Band in support of the Stand Up To Cancer campaign. 

The British fashion designer is working on the joint national fundraising campaign brought to the UK by Cancer Research UK and Channel 4 and providing his stylish designs for you to buy. 

Designed with the bold Stand Up To Cancer colours in mind – orange, black, red and white – the charm Band is a defiant statement in support of Stand Up To Cancer. This exclusive black & white band, featuring an upright arrow charm with all four campaign colours on each face, will retail at £5 via the Stand Up To Cancer online shop: shop.standuptocancer.org.uk.

Henry’s design will raise vital funds that will accelerate groundbreaking research, bringing treatments to UK patients faster and saving more lives. This is a cause close to Henry’s heart and a campaign that he firmly stands behind after experiencing cancer very close to home. 

Henry Holland said: “I’m Standing Up To Cancer for all the members of my family who have been affected. I wanted to design something that represented the fight to stamp out this horrible disease for good. By wearing the Band as a symbol of your solidarity you can join us on the frontline in the fight against cancer, and raise as much money as possible to get innovative new treatments to patients faster.”

In 2012, Stand Up To Cancer’s fundraising total exceeded £8m, funding 12 clinical trials across the UK, and this year’s aim is to do even better.  The 2014 campaign is encouraging people to join the frontline against cancer this autumn by fundraising, buying merchandise, joining March On Cancer™ and tuning in to the live TV show on Channel 4 on Friday 17th October. The big night will see stars from TV, music, film and fashion joining forces to galvanize the nation to show cancer that it’s payback time.

Founded in the US in 2008, Stand Up To Cancer has harnessed the support of the entertainment industry to generate millions in pledges for cancer research.

The Band will also be sold via House of Holland, House of Fraser, F. Hinds and for one week on the ASOS website as part of an exclusive celebrity boutique, an online boutique with celebrities selling items from their personal wardrobes.
