Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid are set to go head to head to be crowned International Model at the Fashion Awards 2016.
Dame Natalie Massenet, who is the Chairman of the British Fashion Council (BFC), the CEO of the BFC Caroline Rush and model Karlie Kloss announced the nominations for this year's fashion ceremony on Tuesday (25.10.16) at Soho House West Hollywood, California, which saw the sisters, alongside close pal Kendall Jenner shortlisted in the same category.
Natalie has congratulated all of those who have been nominated for an accolade, which recognises the individuals for their contribution to the fashion industry and their "incredible talent".
Speaking at the announcement yesterday, she said: "Huge congratulations to all the Fashion Awards 2016 nominees! It's an incredible achievement and a very well-deserved recognition for their achievements this year.
"The shortlisted nominees prove the incredible talent we are so fortunate to work with both at home and abroad. This year's ceremony will be thrilling and I look forward to welcoming all our guests to London and to what has become one of the most-anticipated highlights of the global fashion calendar."
The announcement will also see Jonathan Anderson vie with Dame Vivienne Westwood and the creative mastermind and film director Tom Ford for the title of British Menswear Designer, whilst designer labels including Alexander McQueen, Burberry and Stella McCartney will compete to be crowned the Best British Brand.
And additional awards will be presented to four other figures in the industry to celebrate their career milestones, and celebrate the role of fashion's Creative Influencers.
The winners of this year's Fashion Awards, which is in partnership with the jewellery brand Swarovski, will be announced at a gala ceremony on December 5 at London's Royal Albert Hall.
