Sportswear is the men's look of choice according to the poll
Dressing for a man may seem like a foreign country to some, but then others put that to the forefront of their mind when they're shopping; whichever stance you take, it's interesting to know that men favour the laidback look.
A new poll, conducted by myvouvhercodes.co.uk, found that men find sportswear more attractive than a little black dress.
Following on from the Summer of Sport, the website decided to ind out how both women and men feel about the sporty look and whether or not it plays a part in attraction between the sexes.
It found tht men voted sportswear as the most attractive genre of clothing on women, whereas women prefer a man in a suit.
1,562 heterosexual men and women aged 18 and over took part in the poll, answering questions surrounding their favoured fashion on members of the opposite sex.
The men taking part were asked to choose what genres of clothing they found most attractive on members of the opposite sex, and were able to choose multiple answers. According to the results, the top 3 most attractive female fashion ‘looks’, according to men, were as follows:
1) Sportswear
2) Little Black Dress
3) Office Wear (suits/ formal clothing)
In contrast, the women taking part in the study were also asked to state what style of clothing they found most attractive on men, with the top 3 results as follows:
1) Suits/ Formal Wear- 68%
2) Sportswear- 48%
3) Casual Wear (Jeans/ T Shirt/ Jumper etc)- 44%
