The 41-year-old actress has partnered with American brand The Limited to launch her spring 2017 Eva Longoria Collection in partnership with Sunrise Brands, to mirror her personal chic glamour, which will be unveiled this autumn in the brand's 250 American stores, although the brunette beauty has admitted she is overwhelmed by the project.

Speaking to website WWD about her upcoming range, the 'Telenova' star said: "Now my clothing line is a full-time job. And it's like 'oh s**t, that's hard to do,' but I fully embrace the responsibility that comes with each role that I'm playing."

The former 'Desperate Housewives' star - who won a Golden Globe Award for her role as Gabrielle Solis in the soap - has revealed she began designing as a child, which remained with her and would see Eva take to her trailer whilst filming the ABC series to create her signature maxi dresses, although there would often be a wardrobe malfunction.

Eva - who launched her home wear line for J. C. Penney in May 2015 - explained: "I learned to sew as a kid. At first, all I could sew was straight lines - curtains, pillows, duvets. That's why I started my J.C. Penney home line. But if it had a sleeve or arm or leg, I was like, 'no'.

"When I was in high school, I would go to Jo-Ann Fabrics and get scrap fabric and patterns on sale to practice with. That's how I learned to cut on the bias.

"I made a lot of my dresses but I never told anyone. And if you looked at it really hard, you'd be like, 'Your seam's falling apart. "Sewing zippers is still a challenge for me."

Meanwhile, Eva - who classes fashion designer Victoria Beckham as her best friend - has designed her upcoming clothing line to suit the working woman with its stretch denim styles, bodycon dresses and graphic T-shirts with 'Life is too short to drink bad wine' emblazoned across the chest.

The Limited will slowly tease Eva's clothing line by revealing three to four garments per week online starting from July 25, which will see the full collection launch in store by August 15.
