Emma Ferrer - the grand-daughter of actress Audrey Hepburn - is preparing to hit the catwalk at Paris Fashion Week.
The 20-year-old, who is currently studying at the Florence Academy of Art, has been personally asked by Lanvin's creative director Alber Elbaz to model at his Spring Summer 2015 show.
Speaking to the New York Post about her upcoming appearance on the catwalk, Emma said: "I am so nervous, though.
"Living in Florence has been amazing, but I am ready to be in New York, where everything is happening. It's going to be a dream."
Emma also reflected on what her grandmother would have made of her move into the fashion industry.
She said: "I'd like to think my grandmother would be proud of me for other things I've accomplished.
"I was a hard worker at school. I graduated at the top of my class. I don't know how she would feel about this in particular."
She added: "I would like to become a woman I feel like she was in her strength and compassion, elegance and kindness.
"Everyone always talks about how kind and down-to-earth she was, you know."
