Emma Bunton isn't "too worried" about turning 40.
The former Spice Girl has insisted she isn't that bothered about hitting the milestone next year but does have her "days" when she gets concerned about ageing.
She said: "I'm not too worried but I have my days where I'm like, 'Oh my goodness, I'm going to be 40!'
"I just make sure I look after my skin. I love going for facials but it doesn't happen very often because I've got two children. I think it's about making time for it."
The 39-year-old star also revealed she dedicates more of her time to her beauty routine now she is older.
She shared: "I definitely make more time for it now than I did in my younger days. Being busy and on tour means you don't get the time to cleanse and use a scrub. I put more into it now.
"I like to keep it simple but thorough. And of course, I'll be 40 in January so I just make more of an effort now."
But Emma has her "fingers crossed" she will inherit her mother's good skin genes.
She added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Of course, I'm getting older so things definitely change. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for my mum's genes. She's got good skin."
