Elisabeth Moss's Emmy look was inspired by Sandy from 'Grease'.
The 36-year-old actress stunned at this year's Primetime Emmy Awards in a black strapless Vera Wang gown and a bold red lip, and Dior makeup artist Daniel Martin has hinted that everything she sported on the red carpet was inspired by Olivia Newton John's alter ego from the iconic 1978 musical movie.
He said: "We wanted to disrupt her look a bit since last year's beauty was more polished and pretty. Bad Sandy was my inspiration for this year's Emmys. We created a bold lip using the new Dior Rouge Ultra Rouge Lipstick in Ultra Star, tangerine eyes and glowy sun-kissed skin"
Moss - who was nominated for the Lead Actress in a Drama Series prize for her performance as Offred in 'The Handmaid's Tale' - wore Dior Rouge Ultra Rouge Lipstick in 777 Ultra Star and the Ultra Star Liner in 777.
The 'Mad Men' star was beaten to the accolade by Claire Foy, who was modest in victory, choosing to pay tribute to Moss and the other nominees; 'The Americans' star Keri Russell, 'Killing Eve' actress Sandra Oh, 'Orphan Black' star Tatiana Maslany and 'Westworld' actress Evan Rachel Wood.
Foy, 34, was honoured for her role as Queen Elizabeth in 'The Crown' and dedicated her win to her on-screen husband Matt Smith, who played Prince Philip.
Claire, who like Matt has bowed out of the show after two series as it moves ahead in time, said: "I was given a role I never thought I would ever get a chance to play and I met people I will love forever and ever end. I dedicate this to the next cast, the next generation, and I also dedicate this to Matt Smith."
