Diane von Furstenberg has opened her design archives.
The 66-year-old designer is working with fashion consultant Natalie Joss to produce a film and photoshoot featuring her own pieces and has enlisted models and muses Tali Lennox, Lila Love and Elizabeth Gilpin to star in the film, 'Playing in Diane's Closet'.
Diane told Vogue magazine: "I loved it! I think that [the models] have great style. I thought they looked very fresh."
The shoot took place at the designer's home in Connecticut and features new pieces from her autumn/winter 2013-14 High Line collection.
Diane - who is soon to celebrate the 40th anniversary of her iconic wrap dress - said the V-necked creation was designed to flatter all figures.
She said: "It was something that had not been done, just a simple little dress. But I think the thing that made it special and that has made it timeless, is that it was all about the woman. It really flattered a woman's body and it gave her independence and power - and that is still so relevant today."
Diane recently launched new collaborative collections with Gap Kids and Roxy and puts her success down to her ability to be "true" to herself.
She added: "I define success by my ability to express myself and be true to myself - it is my mission in life to empower women, through fashion, through mentoring and through philanthropy."
