David Beckham has signed a five-year deal with Kent and Curwen.
The former soccer star, 40, has teamed up with the luxury menswear brand based on Savile Row in Mayfair, Central London, and will spend the next half a decade working on all aspects of the company from advertising to store design.
He told WWD.com: "I'm always looking to work with brands and companies that have a rich history and authenticity. When this authenticity is rooted in the country that I came from, it attracts me even more to the partnership."
He added: "What I love is that Kent and Curwen has a pedigree and excellence that has been passed through generations."
The handsome superstar - who is married to designer Victoria Beckham - is no stranger to the fashion industry as he's also the current face of Belstaff, a collaborator with the Swedish retailer H&M and has previously appeared in several Armani underwear campaigns.
David - who once caused a stir when he wore a sarong - previously said he never relies on a stylist to choose his outfits because he likes to mix things up a little with his style.
He said earlier this month: "Rules are made to be broken and I think I've done that over the years, in good ways and in bad ways. But I'm having fun and I wear what I like to wear: I don't get told what to wear."
