Daria Werbowy shooting the new campaign for Mango
Daria Werbowy has been announced as the newest face of Mango, suceeding Miranda Kerr to the coveted spot.
The face of Mango has been changed plenty of times over the years and with some huge names and faces as the brand's face, Daria certainly has some big boots to fill.
Penélope Cruz, Milla Jovovich, Lizzy Jagger, Karolina Kurkova, Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova, Inés Sastre, Claudia Schiffer, Christy Turlington and Diane Kruger are just a few of the most famous faces that have represented the brand.
At 29, her professional career has led to international acclaim and appearances on the most exclusive catwalks. The face of numerous advertising campaigns, front covers pages and editorials, she is considered one of the most renowned super models of today.
Despite acknowledging on several occasions that the world of modelling was not her first career choice, her feline eyes and sculptured physique has attracted the attention of big fashion houses every season. Daria will pose wearing a variety of trends and styles from the new MANGO collection. Prints, flowing silhouettes, hippie-inspired embroidery and tribal looks, combined with tassels and metallic fittings, take centre stage in indie rock-inspired outfits.
The forthcoming season arrives with new tonalities, in yellow and blue, and striped prints, inspired by male silhouettes with minimalist tailoring. Similarly, there are several black and white combinations in more abstract and modern stylings with clean and elegant tailoring.
