Ciara tries to keep her look "minimal" by always dressing in black and white.
The 'Goodies' singer has confessed she doesn't feel comfortable in colourful attire and prefers to stick to a "monochromatic" colour palette when updating her wardrobe.
She said of the inspiration behind her impeccable style: "I'm very into monochromatic dressing. I'm very into the 1990s and minimal."
Although the brunette beauty likes to keep her look simple, she loves sporting the latest designer pieces and enjoys mixing luxury labels like Givenchy and David Koma with high street buys.
She added of her favourite Topshop jeans: "They're really, really good."
Her 11-month-old son, Future, whom she has with her former fiancé, also named Future, is already following in her footsteps and developing a sense of style.
The 29-year-old singer added that while the well dressed tot is often given gifts by world renowned designers, she prefers to stock up on clothes for her son at high street store babyGap.
She told Vogue.com: "Riccardo [Tisci] custom-made him some Nikes... but babyGap is the best for me."
