Chloe Madeley needed to give her body a "break" from strict dieting.
The 29-year-old television personality has admitted her diet went out the window during her recent holiday to Ibiza, Spain, with her boyfriend James Haskell, which saw her indulge in donuts, daiquiris and pizza during, although she felt she needed to loosen up on her "strict" eating and fitness regime.
She told the Metro.co.uk: "After months of a very strict diet and training regime, I'm finally away with my boyfriend and unsurprisingly, watching my body change daily.
"Breakfasts consist of donuts, lunches are supplemented with daiquiris, and dinners are usually pizza focused with a side of tequila.
"There's no denying that it's a bit of a head f*** when you watch all your hard work wash away, but my body needed a break, and it'll only take a few weeks of work to get back to where it was.
"As far as I'm concerned, a holiday is a holiday, and this means a break from all restrictions. Wear what you want, eat what you want, sleep when you want - what you say goes."
However, the blonde beauty - who is the daughter of the television duo Judy Finnigan and Richard Madeley - has revealed she didn't totally kick the healthy living to the curb, and still exercised whilst she was away.
She explained: "Despite the diet going to pot, my boyfriend James and I have a habit of training almost daily when we're away. This is most definitely NOT my choice, but as an athlete he's had it drilled into him that a day off is enough, and then it's time to move again.
"So one week in and we've had three training sessions in the poxy hotel gym and a couple of pool routines."
