Charli XCX won't wear fur as she finds the practise "upsetting".
The 'Boom Clap' hitmaker admits she didn't always realise the "ethics" behind the animal-hyde industry but now makes a conscious decision not to wear the skins.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, she said: "I don't wear fur. I've become more educated about fur. When I was younger I probably would have worn it in shoots without realising the ethics behind it. But now I actively don't.
"There are some things I've heard that have been really upsetting. So I'm still learning but I actively try not to wear it."
Meanwhile, the 23-year-old singer has teamed up with Pepsi MAX Cherry for a new creative project.
GIF-iti artist INSA has been bringing to life the personal interpretations of fans' taste of the drink, with Charli describing it as "roaring through icy glaciers with pink cherry lips and glittery diamond eyes"
Her visual inspired INSA to create an image of a wolf roaring across a dynamic icy pink and blue backdrop, while two additional consumer taste descriptions were also chosen.
Charli said: "The installation is wild! It was great to see how INSA brought my response to the taste of Pepsi MAX Cherry to life in such a bold and creative way!"
Famed for his work in creating GIF-iti art visible from space, INSA's Pepsi MAX collaboration has taken 72 paintings, 168 hours worth of painting and 90 cameras to create and capture.
To view the art installment and the GIF-iti experience, a free to attend live event will be taking place at Ely's Yard, The Old Truman Brewery in London on Saturday 27th February from 5.30pm- 10.30pm.
