We can certainly admire celebrities style, but now we can actually buy it and help out a variety of charities whilst doing so too.

Jessie J, Rachel Weisz and Gemma Arterton are just a few of the celebrities who have donated items for the fashion sale.

The second annual charity sale marks the start of partywear season, with Vestiaire Collective today launching a dedicated partywear section on the site, featuring pre-loved and vintage items from some of the world’s most sought-after designers. Prices start at just £100, with all fashion items curated by the site’s style ambassador, Bay Garnett.

Over the last month, British fashion icons have been donating much-loved items of designer clothing to the luxury resale site. Some of the world’s most photographed stars, from Rachel Weisz, Jessie J, Gemma Arterton, Sophie Dahl, Daisy Lowe, Laura Whitmore, Davina McCall, as well as designers Erdem and Alice Temperley have all donated highly desirable fashion pieces which fashion hunters can now buy through signing up to Vestiaire Collective.

Fanny Moizant, UK Managing Director of Vestiaire Collective, who herself donated items said: “We are thrilled that so many leading lights in the fashion world have come out to support our annual charity initiative – this year we expect to raise thousands for charities from Barnados to NSPCC. We have a treasure trove of fashion gems on the site, and we expect many of these pieces to become valuable collectors’ items so we advise fashion hunters to come early.”

Last week a fashion drop-off event was held at the Sophie Gass boutique in Notting Hill where celebrities such as Rosie Fortescue, Camilla Rutherford, Jade Parfitt, Jasmine Guinness and Bay Garnett donated designer clothing and accessories aiming to raise thousands of pounds for their favourite chosen charities.

Proceeds from each individual sale of the dress or accessory will be given to a charity personally chosen by the celebrity donor (Barnardos, Battersea Dogs Home, Doctors without Borders, NSPCC and Clic Sargent are some of the selected causes).
