Catherine Zeta-Jones has "not been under the knife" to improve her looks.
The 46-year-old screen beauty - who is married to 71-year-old actor Michael Douglas - is one of the most beautiful actresses in Hollywood but is adamant she has never had any form of plastic surgery to make her look more youthful.
However, Catherine would not be opposed to seeking medical help to improve her body or face if she felt it was something she wanted to do to give herself more confidence.
Asked whether female actresses feel pressure to stay beautiful, she told Good Housekeeping magazine: "You don't have to be a beauty queen to be an actress, the roles that are coming my way are different and more interesting. But I'm not anti-plastic surgery at all. Contrary to public opinion, I have not been under the knife ... yet, is what I say! If I feel like it, I'm going to go ahead and do it! If (surgery) makes you feel better, who am I to tell someone that it's wrong."
The 'Dad's Army' star - who was a British tap-dancing champion in her formative years - also revealed she exercises every day because she believes that a healthy body means she'll have a healthy mind.
Catherine - who has two children, son Dylan, 15 and daughter Carys, 12, with Michael - said: "I have my dancing. I'm lucky that I have a bit of a muscle memory, so once my body gets back in motion it seems to remember. Being active and on my feet is much healthier for my psyche. I really feel it's healthy for a body to sweat every day. I run on my treadmill or power walk outside. Then I do some bodywork and arm work and a bit of tap dancing every now and then."
