Carrie Underwood is grateful eyebrow pencils exist so she can "fix" her arched brows.
The 33-year-old singer has claimed she damaged her facial features when she was younger, and is "very happy" there is a variety of products in a range of colours she can use to cover up the irreversible beauty blunders she made by over-plucking.
The 'All-American Girl' hitmaker told PEOPLE: "Growing up in the '90s I feel like the thin eyebrow was definitely a thing and I, like so many others, overdid it.
"They never really grew back the way they were supposed to so now I am very happy that they do have eyebrow pencils, so I can fix what I did to myself when I was young."
But the songwriter's facial hair was not the only issue she had as a youngster, as she also opted for a perm, which she strongly regrets.
She explained: "[My] worst hair moment ever would probably be me in the sixth grade when I decided that my bangs should have crazy amounts of gel ... [and] I had a perm at some point, when I was like 14. That was a bad idea."
The 'American Idol' champion - who was crowned the winner on the fourth season of the talent show in 2005 - was never happy with her freckles, or her teeth, and went to extreme lengths to change her appearance.
She said: "I had freckles on my face and they were in the exact same spot on both of my cheeks, so I felt like I got teased at school. I remember asking my mom if we could get rid of them. Well, I did get rid of them.
"I had bad teeth, too."
Carrie has revealed she had to wear dental braces for a number of times to align her pearly whites.
She explained: "I had to get braces [more than once]. I actually had them on the bottom for like three months while I was doing red carpets, but no one knew - so I felt like I had a secret."
