Carolina Herrera's creative director Hervé Pierre has quit the company after 14 years.
Hervé, who according to his LinkedIn page has been "in charge of all the collection, special projects and celebrities at Carolina Herrera New York" for the company since 2002, but a spokesperson for the label confirmed his departure to WWD.
No further details have been revealed and it is not clear if he is moving to a new company.
The news comes after the label's latest collection received praise at New York Fashion Week.
Hervé worked at Balmain in Paris before moving to New York to work for Herrera.
Meanwhile, the brand's founder Carolina Herrera has previously praised actress Renee Zellweger for her loyalty to the brand and said this is not the case with many stars who she and other designers provide dresses to.
She explained: "There's no fidelity. There's millions of designers and they're offering spectacular things. (Celebrities) go from one to the other."
Caroline - who debuted The Carolina Herrera brand in 1981 - added that their relationship is "lovely, uncomplicated and easy. Personal".
