Carey Mulligan doesn't care what she wears when she isn't working.

The 'Great Gatsby' actress - who is married to singer Marcus Mumford - feels she is a "better person" when she isn't worried about her clothes or putting on make-up, so makes minimal effort when she is at home on her farm in Devon, South West England.
She said: "I like waking up in the morning and putting on whatever's by the side of my bed, and putting on Wellington boots and walking up a steep hill. And not wearing any make-up.
"When you're working, everything's so busy and so aesthetic. When all of that angst isn't on you, you're just kind of a better person -- more focused on other people rather than worrying about yourself."
The 29-year-old actress also admitted she frequently changes her hair style because she thinks it makes it easier for audiences to accept her in a new role if she looks different.
She explained to the new issue of America's Vogue magazine: "I have always felt that the less people know about me, the better.
"The more similar you look job to job, the more they relate to you from your previous roles. That's why I've done loads of really stupid things to my hair in the past to try to not look the same."
