Cara Delevingne believes self confidence is the "most important component in fashion".
The 22-year-old model - who recently unveiled her new capsule collection entitled 'Cara Delevingne for DKNY' for the New York-based label - insists having confidence in herself makes her feel more stylish.
She told Glamour magazine: "Well it's not about what you wear it's about how you're wearing it.
"Self confidence is the most important component in fashion."
The blonde beauty channelled her own trademark tomboy look in the capsule collection, which includes beanies, t-shirts, jumpsuits and crop tops, as well as the brand's legendary founder Donna Karan, with whom she described working as an "epic experience".
She said: "The opportunity to work with someone whose vision is so influential was exciting and an epic experience. I value strong, confident and successful women.
"I felt it was important to showcase the DKNY aesthetic along with my own, which is very effortless and youthful"
Cara's 15 piece collection of mostly unisex items starts at around $70 for beanies, $150 for T-shirts and also features a stand-out leather motorcycle jacket with removable sleeves for $735.
The collection will be available from all DKNY stores, DKNY.com, Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Brown Thomas, Net-a-porter, Selfridges and Stylebop.com.
