Cara Delevingne has been immortalised in wax at the Grévin Museum in Paris.

A sculpture of the stunning supermodel has been created to take pride of place in the newly opened fashion section of the Musée Grévin, a wax museum in Paris, France.

The life-sized figurine is based on the 22-year-old beauty's Melissa shoes magazine cover, on which she starred alongside Chanel's creative director Karl Lagerfeld in 2013, and features the model cross legged, sporting a latex ensemble with her dark blonde hair pulled back into a tight ponytail.

Cara's waxwork is joined by a host of new models depicting fashion's finest in the newly refurbished wing of the museum, including Chanel designer Inès de la Fressange, Canadian supermodel Coco Rocha, designers Jean Paul Gaultier and Christian Dior, as well as popstar Madonna.

A wax imitation of Brit model Naomi Campbell has also been added to the collection, depicting the fashion icon in a pair of tiny black hotpants and an embellished cropped sweater.

An earlier model of the 44-year-old star was also exhibited at the museum in 2005, as well as at London's Madame Tussauds waxwork museum in 1996.
