British fashion designer, Mark Marengo will be the only menswear designer representing Britain at the world's architectural wonder OCBC Skyway at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore.
Mark's designs will reach new heights as models walk along the 128m long sky high catwalk between the Supertree Structures.
This show is part of Jessica Minh Anh’s series of history making catwalks at the most iconic venues worldwide following her phenomenal successes on London’s Tower Bridge and the Grand Canyon Skywalk.
Bringing together designers from around the globe, the J Spring Fashion Show will be the first ever catwalk on this mega-structure and the show is set to further redefine modern fashion standards.
British designer Mark Marengo said “The collection I am preparing for Jessica Minh Anh’s Spring Fashion Show 2014 adds a contemporary twist to classic style. It’s elegant, chic and, fundamentally, wearable”.
Jessica added “We have top designers from around the world taking part in the event, and Mark’s designs will really stand out.”
As well as Mark’s menswear collection, the show will feature an exquisite combination of Haute Couture and Prêt-à-Porter collections from Europe, Asia, America, and Africa in an hour long catwalk. “You will see a brand new take on modern beauty, with clean cut silhouettes, a mesmerizing fusion of layers and colours, and special detailing,” said Jessica Minh Anh.
Singapore’s No 1 Action Salon is designing exclusive architectural hairpieces while Japanese cosmetics brand Shu Uemura promises a flawless makeup look to perfection for the runway.
The exclusive VIPs, who are country ambassadors, Singapore’s ministers, international designers, Global 2000 company directors, and the national and international press, will be seated at the Supertree Grove to enjoy the grand panoramic view of the entire OCBC Skyway on March 5.
This is not the first time Jessica Minh Anh has turned an iconic venue into a phenomenal catwalk. The model has been making history at the incredible speed of 3 shows per year in different continents. Her recent achievements include the world’s highest fashion show on the Grand Canyon Skywalk in the US, the first ever catwalk on London’s Tower Bridge and PETRONAS Twin Towers’ Skybridge in Kuala Lumpur, the 90 metre floating catwalk on the river Seine in Paris, and the world’s first sundeck catwalk on Costa Atlantica in Dubai.
