Behati Prinsloo will not walk this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in Paris.
The 27-year-old supermodel - who has strutted down the event's catwalk for nine consecutive years - has decided to sit out of the forthcoming glitter extravaganza, which is being held in the French capital for the first ever time, on Wednesday (30.11.16) because she only gave birth to her daughter Dusty Rose two months ago.
Taking to her Instagram account on Sunday (27.11.16) night, she said alongside a photograph of her opening the show in 2015: "Opening the #vsfashionshow for the first time was a dream come true opening twice in a row was just NUTS, still pinching myself. To the girls and crew, good luck in Paris, me and Dusty Rose will be cheering."
Although she's decided to sit this year out, the brunette beauty praised her fellow models - Lily Aldridge, Kendall Jenner and sisters Bella and Gigi Hadid - for the hard work they've put in ahead of the upcoming event and, although she doesn't know what the future holds, she assured fans she will be back next year to open the show again.
She explained: "I know the blood sweat and tears that goes into the making of this show and also being in it, this would have been my 10th year I can't believe it. Love you all, have fun in Paris and see you next year!!!! @victoriassecret @10magazine @ed_razek @johndavidpfeiffer @monica.mitro (sic)."
Behati walked her first Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2007, which was held in Los Angeles, and has walked every one since, and she became an Angel in 2009.
