Audrina Partridge's new swimwear line was inspired by sharks.
The 31-year-old American television personality and fashion designer has recently launched her label Prey Swim, and has revealed her love for fashion, the ocean and her fascination with the sea predator influenced her latest venture.
Speaking to E! News about the collection, the 'The Hills' alumni said: "It just makes sense. I love fashion and I love the ocean, I am always on a beach somewhere. When I was on 'The Hill's I was known as the bikini queen. So, a few years ago when I was on the NBC show I kind of started and I was like, 'You know what I'm going to do my own swim line'. I am so captivated with sharks so I really wanted to include the awareness of saving sharks with our line, so within our hardware it has a lot of shark teeth.
"I have always had a love for fashion, the ocean and bikinis - having grown up in Southern California and always traveling."
And the television personality - who has five-month-old daughter Kirra max with her husband Corey Bohan - has revealed the idea of designing her own fashion range came to her "three years ago".
She said: "So, about three years ago, I decided why not create my own swim brand, and incorporate everything I love and have seen throughout my travels into the line!
"I didn't just put my name on someone else's line, I put my heart and soul into this line."
The brunette beauty has revealed one week in and customers are still "going crazy" for her designs, and she has received "great feedback" on her versatile designs, which can be reversed and have various modifications to make the swimsuit more personal.
She said: "It's going crazy. We have had lots of great feedback. Everyone is loving the suits. I think there's something for everyone, some are a little fashion forward. But we still wanted it to be reversible. So when people buy one suit, they're really buying one suit but literally have two. You can reverse one, you can change the straps, you can really make it your own."
