Emma Ferrer, the granddaughter of Audrey Hepburn, has been signed by Storm Models.
The 20-year-old art student made her modelling debut in August's issue of Harper's Bazaar, and has now been snapped up by the world famous agency alongside supermodels Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne.
Emma gained recognition due to her relationship to Audrey - who is considered to be one of the most iconic fashion stars of the 20th century - which she explained can bother her sometimes, especially as the 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' actress passed away in 1993, before she was even born.
She said: "What can be bothersome and confusing is when people are disappointed to see I'm not her carbon copy, nor would I want to be,
"I want to be a person that she would be proud of, and I hope she would be proud because of who I am."
On whether she has considered following in her grandmother's footsteps, she told the Telegraph newspaper: "I think it's a beautiful art form and you can explore so much about yourself, so I am very interested in it."
The model - who is currently studying at the Florence Academy of Art - will move to New York in January to embark on her modelling career, but insists that her passion for art will always be more important, and will continue with her degree at a satellite campus in Jersey City.
She explained: "I am devoted to art, painting, and entering into the world of aesthetics as a whole."
