The 31-year-old actress - who is currently dating Coldplay's frontrunner Chris Martin - has admitted she wore a high street brand to a star studded bash because she believed the attention should be on her work and not her attire, although she thinks you can still be stylish on a low-cost budget.
Speaking to the Metro newspaper about her wardrobe style, the blonde beauty said: "I'm very passionate about fashion and I like to mix it up with a bit of designer and a bit of high street. You can be stylish without having to spend a lot of cash and I've worn Zara on the red carpet that cost me no more than 20 quid.
"I don't think there's too much attention paid to red carpet fashion. Obviously the work is the most important things but the impression you make is important. You want your work to be noticed."
However, the 'Tudors' star - who played Jane Seymour in the period drama - has revealed she occasionally wears designer labels, and counts the French fashion house Chloé and the Italian luxury brand Valentino as her favourite brands.
She explained: "If I'm going for the designer look my picks would be Valentino and Chloé."
And Annabelle has accrued a number of luxury accessories, including a pair of Christopher Kane lace trainers, a Chanel evening clutch and a Gucci handbag, which she has showcased on her social media.
Alongside a post of her black leather Chloé cross-body bag, she wrote: "I spy a thing of beauty! Thank you @chloe for this treat and new favourite thing #chloegirls#chloegirl (sic)".
Meanwhile, Annabelle is set to star alongside Tom Cruise in a remake of 'The Mummy', which is set for release next year.
