Zara Phillips has suprised audiences by announcing her wedding dress designer to be young couturier Stewart Parvin.
The 30-year-old royal, who marries rugby star Mike Tindall at Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh on July 30 has said she would like a modern chic to her gown as opposed to the 'high-fashion' Sarah Burton creation worn by Kate Middleton for her Westminster Abbey ceremony in April.
Stewart Parvin is a favourite of both Zara's grandmother and mother, the Queen and Princess Anne, who are often spotted in his ensembles.
Though no reports have been disclosed as to the actual design of the dress, we're expecting simple elegance from Miss Phillips and something tells me there won't be any lace present!
