After we've been treated to a Valentino documentary and a Chanel biopic in recent weeks, it seems only fitting that Yves Saint Laurent may be getting his own musical.
According to WWD, the late couturier's life will be set to music, detailing his life from the very beginning of his fashion career to the end.
French signer Alain Chamfort and songwriter Pierre-Dominique Burgaud are reportedly working on the production, which will include his early days at Christian Dior to his many exploits later on in his life.
Saint Laurent’s partner, Pierre Bergé said he has listened to the songs. "They are very good," Bergé told WWD. "They are moving."
The production comes less than a year after the legendary designer died from brain cancer last June.
