Yasmin Le Bon has quit modelling and is already having doubts about her plans to launch her own clothing line.
The stunning 42 year old is one of the most iconic models of the 90s but has today announced she will leave the catwalk behind her because she feels she is too old for the industry.
Yasmin, who is married to Duran Duran lead singer Simon Le Bon, was originally interested in setting up her own clothing label but is now changing her mind.
"I thought of it years ago - but I'm a model not a business woman. I love fashion, but I don't know anything about that side of the business - so I just don't see it happening. I'll probably never make another penny!" she told contact music.
Yasmin and Simon's daughter Amber is already following in her mother's footsteps and has been turning heads with her model looks.
Modelling for All Saints in her first catwalk stint, at the Corinthian in Glasgow last month, Amber looked like she already had the walk of her famous mother.
Yasmin Le Bon was discovered by a model agency in 1981 while she was working in a local shop. She captured Simon's eye and after much persistance he finally got her number and bagged a date in 1984. Although Yasmin thought they were just going to the movies, Simon took her to the premiere of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
"It was love at first sight," Yasmin confessed. The couple married on December 27, 1985 and Amber was born four years later in 1989.
