Victoria Beckham has been in the UK to launch her fashion label dVb in this country after successful sales in the US.
The Spice Girl opened the concession in Harrods that is specially dedicated her denim line on Wednesday and spoke about what inspired her to create the collection.
"As the creative director of dVb I wanted to encapsulate all I have learnt over the past years, both from the experience I gained whilst designing signature ranges and from a consumer's perspective as, like many women, I have been buying denim for years and feel confident that I know what makes a great pair," she said.
"I'm delighted and excited to have the first dVb concession open in Harrods. It is a wonderful store with international appeal while retaining it's strong English heritage, and it is its intrinsic link to London that offers such an intimacy to dvb opening there."
Victoria launched the dVb range at Saks in New York in June
The range includes her signature big sunglasses and collection of jeans with the DVB star design on the pocket.
Victoria has joined forces with one of the worlds leading denim manufacturers, Western Glove Works, to develop and distribute her debut denim collection.
On the official dVb Style website she says: "I've been lucky enough to work closely with some of the true masters of denim to design and develop a collection that is very personal to me. I've loved denim since I can remember and for a long time couldn't find what I consider to be the perfect pair of jeans, so it was important for me to develop a collection that embodied all the qualities I look for in a fantastic pair"
Alan Einarson from Western Glove works says: "Victoria is one of the most prominent fashion enthusiasts of our day. She has an innate sense of style, fit and proportion that transcends all ages".
DVB ranges will be available in Printemps in Paris and Villa Moda of Dubai as well as Harrods and Saks.
