Victoria Beckham will sit on the Graduate Fashion Week judging panel next month.
The 32 year old will interview students and decide who will win the prestigious River Island £20, 000 Gold Award.
She will join an expert panel, which includes Glenda Bailey, the editor of American Harper's Bazaar, Alber Elbaz, the creative director of the French label Lanvin, and River Island's managing director, Richard Bradbury.
Terry Mansfield, chairman of Graduate Fashion Week told the press:" 'I had the idea of asking Victoria to be one of the judges earlier this year and when we met she was very interested in it."
"'She has been involved in designing already and she is seen as a global fashion icon."
"There's no question that her presence will also help the students get more attention globally and if I have helped to get a couple of students a few more jobs then I haven't done such a bad thing."
