Vera Wang launches wedding ring line
She is known as the 'wedding gown whisperer' and has designs some of the most sublime and simply out of this world wedding creations that we have seen this generation. But that's not enough for gown guru Vera Wang.
As well as dresses and stores, now it would seem that Miss Wang has her sights set on the jewellery side of the special day as she is launching an engagement ring and wedding band line.
Vera Wang Love the collection will feature 50 different styles. All 14 Karat gold bands will be engraved with a small blue sapphire as well as various sizes and cuts of diamonds. The unique sapphire is said to be symbolic of everlasting love.
The line will be in collaboration with Zales, a match made in heaven for two of the top names associated with the wedding industry.
There is good news for those who don't have the sky high budget for rings and gowns as do some A Listers (Kim Kardashian) as the rings are said to accompany Wang's David's Bridal Line of reasonably-priced dresses, not to mention the bridesmaid gown line for the store too.
The engagement rings will start from $1,999 and wedding bands from $649 and a far cry away from the thousands and thousands that some of her fans may have been expecting.
And who said that luxury had to have the luxury pricetag?
