Fashion house Valentino has layed off staff in its New York Office, according to new reports.
The downsizing took place yesterday, diminishing its U.S. infrastructure for public relations and men’s wear, reports WWD.
Reportedly, Director of communications Garine Zerounian was let go, despite overseeing both Valentino's and M Missoni's U.S. communications.
Her job will now fall to Judy Bassaly, senior manager of marketing, while Men's sale director Paul Jacobsen and his assistant were also laid off.
A member of the store development team completed the axed numbers, while reportedly calls to Valentino’s New York office went unanswered on Monday.
