A documentary about fashion designer, Valentino has smashed all box office records since it opened last week.
Matt Tyrnauer’s 'Valentino: The Last Emperor' has been enjoying an extremely successful run, grossing over £26,000 so far since its debut at New York’s Film Forum.
According to WWD, It's already being touted as the highest-grossing documentary of 2009, despite us only being three months into the New Year.
The film has also made stars of Valentino's six pug dogs, who each have starring roles in the movie and their popularity has now sparked a 'Most Fashionable Pug' contest in New York.
To the more pressing news as to when it will be airing outside of the U.S., a spokeswoman told WWD: "Plans are definitely in the works to bring the movie to additional markets but specifics are still forthcoming."
We can't wait, especially since it will hit Chicago on March 27 and San Francisco and Los Angeles April 3- we're getting a tiny bit impatient over here in the UK!
