Ungaro, after many years unsure of their direction, have finally appointed a new CEO - former Donna Karan, Marc Jacobs and Oscar de la Renta chief executive Jeffry Aronsson.
In 2009, Emanuel Ungaro faced controversy with their previous CEO; Mounir Moufarriage, just before his artistic advisor, Lindsay Lohan, was fired.
The then-head designer at the brand, Estrella Archs, and the actress were replaced in May 2010 by British designer Giles Deacon - the fifth creative director in five years.
Now, for the first time since the Ungaro's retirement, the future looks stable and things seem to be looking up for the brand.
New CEO, Aronsson, said: "We have an authentic, world renowned haute couture designer brand with a great heritage.
Yes, it has been bruised, but with the right care and attention, the bruises will heal and it will look as great as it ever did."
Giles Deacon will be showing his third collection with the company in Paris this October.
