Former supermodel Sophie Dahl had an unusual inspiration for her 2009 cookbook - bizarre food nightmares haunted the beauty until she wrote the culinary guide.
Dahl, who gained fame as a teen for her curvaceous British size 14 (U.S. size 10) figure, famously worked off her weight over the years to reveal a trim frame.
But she admits in between shedding the pounds and writing Miss Dahl's Voluptuous Delights she was haunted by "nightmares and dreams involving food".
Illustrating one dream, she tells the New York Post, "(I'm) being chased by men made from mashed potatoes in stripy tights, chasing me through forests."
